Lermoos, Austria /Hotel Post

Austria! It never disappoints.  Mac and I agree that this is probably our most favorite country.
We love Vienna for it's music and culture, Salzburg for it's Mirabell gardens, Hohensalzburg Fortress and Mozart!
St. Gilgen for it's utter beauty
and Lermoos for it's view of the alps and being just what people think a typical
Austrian village should be.
In fact, we recommend a vacation/holiday with two days in each location.

We decided on the lovely Hotel Post
Kirchplatz 6 Lermoos
6631

The hotel lobby looked promising as we walked in and asked for our room key.

We were awestruck with our room (number 115)
This is a warming oven called a kachelofen.
Very nice if you are on a ski holiday.

The bed with a view into the bathroom.
We were wondering why they had a window open into
the bath.

Living room and view toward the balcony.

This hotel had a great attention to detail.
Here's a backpack for hiking should you decide a wander through the village and alps is in order and
a bag filled with all you need to head down to the pool or the spa.

We were impressed with the room, but when we saw the view from the balcony, we were over-awed.
Is that a word?

Alp view from our room!
Just fantastic.

This is the view that greeted us in the morning.
A mist in the valley and the alps towering above.
The air was fresh and clean.
A morning to linger with a cup of coffee.

Fantastic isn't it?

Mac gives it 3 thumbs up and says to tell you, "I figured out why they have a window in the bathroom.  It's because from the tub you can see the alps."
Oh, and he really liked the little "spa" rubber ducky the hotel provided too!
Well, friends you know he isn't shy right?
Tomorrow we'll tell you about the amazing dinner and breakfast included in the price of the room.
